Ingredients
- 3-4lb grass-fed top round roast
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 3 gloves of garlic, crushed
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation
Preheat oven to 500 degrees
Combine butter, garlic, salt and pepper
Rub roast with butter combination
Sear roast in oven for 20 minutes
Reduce oven to 200 degrees
Continue to cook until internal temperature reach 110 degrees
Remove from oven. Tent lightly with foil. Let rest for 15 minutes
Slice thin
Approximate Roasting Times
3-4lb roast 20 minutes at 500 degrees then 45-60 minutes at 200 degrees
6-7lb roast 20 minutes at 500 degrees then 1-3/4 hours at 200 degrees
